Question. 1. List and explain the following types of number system with example

Decimal Number System
Binary Number System
Octal Number System

Answer: Number systems are the technique to represent numbers in the computer system architecture, every value that you are saving or getting into/from computer memory has a defined number system.

Computer architecture supports following number systems.

·       Binary number system
·       Octal number system


Question. 2. What is Boolean Algebra? List and explain the Law of Boolean Algebra

Answer: In mathematics and mathematical logic, Boolean algebra is the branch of algebra in which the values of the variables are the truth values true and false, usually denoted 1 and 0 respectively. Instead of elementary algebra where the values of the variables are numbers, and the main operations are addition and multiplication, the main operations of Boolean algebra are the conjunction and denoted as , the disjunction or denoted as , and the negation not denoted as ¬. It is thus a formalism for describing logical relations




Question. 3. What is Asynchronous ripple counter? Explain 3- Bit Asynchronous Up Counter with circuit diagram and Truth table.
