Q. 1. Explain the modes of operation associated with E – Commerce.

Answer:E-Commerce or Electronics Commerce business models can generally categorized in following categories.

·         Business - to - Business (B2B): Website following B2B business model sells its product to an intermediate buyer who then sells the product to the final customer. As an example, a wholesaler places an order from a company's website and after receiving the consignment, sells the end product to final customer who comes to buy the product at wholesaler's retail outlet.



Q. 2. Explain the purpose of Network layer of the OSI model.

Answer:The third-lowest layer of the OSI Reference Model is the network layer. If the data link layer is the one that basically defines the boundaries of what is considered a network, the network layer is the one that defines how internetworks (interconnected networks) function. The network layer is the lowest one in the OSI model that is concerned with actually getting data from one computer to another even if it is on a remote network; in contrast, the data link layer only deals with devices that are local to each other.

Answer:The OMG Structured Metrics Metamodel (SMM) specification defines a standard Software Metrics Metamodel. It is a publicly available specification from the Object Management Group (OMG). An SMM model describes how metrics can be extracted from a model. It also allows for metric reporting. It is developed by the Architecture Driven Modernization Task Force. The SMM uses OMG's Meta-Object Facility (MOF) to define an XMI interchange format between metric extraction tools. It can be used to extract

Each plays an important role in Customer relationship management, and a company that wants to success must understand the importance of using these three components successfully.

Answer: Wireless transaction protocol is a standard used in mobile telephony. It is a layer of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) that is intended to bring Internet access to mobile phones. WTP provides functions to similar to TCP,except that WTP has reduced amount of information needed for each transaction. WTP saves processing and memory cost as compared to TCP.
